We are excited to have Dave Fennell as our special guest speaker for our March Lunch and Learn!
It’s 2017 and time to update our thinking on some of the basic safety models and principles on which the safety profession has grown … specifically the Incident Triangle and the Swiss Cheese model.
We must think critically to improve safety! Dave Fennell will lead us through a discussion that will explore what these models should look like in 2017 and beyond, and how to apply them in an organization with a mature safety culture.
Learn how to apply them for continuous improvement in safety and how to use them for promoting leading edge safety practices. Also learn how these new models can help you with incident investigations, safety culture, and worker involvement.
Dave Fennell will show us how to transform those good old Swiss Cheese and Incident Triangle models into dynamic models that will help you communicate safety expectations to management, supervisors and front line workers. Safety Professionals and managers will come away from this presentation with a new outlook on safety and their roles as critical thinkers.
