For our third book, we read the most requested book in our polls so far, Starting with Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action by Simon Sinek. There was a great deal of excitement for this book, and we had great conversations at the book club meeting on it.

“The Power of Habit”

For our second book, the CSSE Book Club had the pleasure of reading “The Power of Habit” by Charles Duhigg. The book itself is well written, easy-to-follow, and full of great examples and case studies. The book club meeting was even better. We discussed the book, safety, and shared our own stories of seeing the power of habit in action.

In September 2015, the revamped Communications Committee had their first kick-off meeting and set in motion the communication strategy for the last year.

The CSSE Edmonton Chapter believes that it is important to attend the CSSE Professional Development Conference; and as an event sponsor this year are extremely excited to see fellow members at the conference.

Each year the Edmonton NAOSH committee puts on events promoting health and safety for employees and employers.  This year was an extra special year as it was the 30^th anniversary of NAOSH.

We are very pleased to announce the transition to the CSSE National platform for our Chapter website. There are many features that our Chapter will be using to make the most of your membership. Our web domain is the same www.edmontoncsse.org, but our look has been updated.
